Wynnum Engine Reconditioning has been operating since 1976, providing professional engine reconditioning and precision machining services. Originally established by the Harper family, the business developed a long-standing reputation for accurate machining, consistent tolerances, and reliable engine builds.

In 2023, ownership transferred to the King family, who continue to uphold the company’s technical standards while investing in equipment, processes, and in-house capability.

Wynnum Engine Reconditioning specialises in complete engine reconditioning and performs all machining operations internally. Services include cylinder boring and honing, crankshaft grinding, line boring, cylinder head reconditioning, block machining, and component balancing. All work is completed in-house with no reliance on outsourced machining, allowing full control over quality, specifications, and turnaround times.
